Dear Citizen of Turrell,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the departure of Chester McGee. His transition marks a significant moment in our city's history, symbolizing both the end of an era and the beginning of new opportunities for growth and unity within our community. Chester McGee's legacy will continue to inspire us all as we honor his contributions and look forward to a future shaped by the values he championed.
Throughout his tenure as the first African American Mayor, he exemplified integrity, resilience, and a deep commitment to the welfare of all residents. His leadership helped foster a more inclusive and progressive community, inspiring future generations. His legacy extends beyond his political achievements; he was a symbol of hope, perseverance, and unity for the citizens of Turrell.
